Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop factors and verify the structural validity of the multitasking skill measurement model of supporting staff at Naresuan University. The samples were 350 informants. The research instrument used was a 5-rating scale questionnaire consisting of 25 items with the reliability coefficient of 0.851. A confirmatory factor analysis was performed by the M-plus program.

The research findings were as follows: It was found that the development model for multitasking skill components of supporting staff at Naresuan University consisted of 5 components: communicative language skills, analytical skills, management skills, teamwork skills, and technology skills. The result of a confirmatory factors revealed that the model fit with the empirical data = 75.447, df = 59, p–value = 0.0732, RMSEA = 0.028, CFI = 0.998, TLI = 0.991, SRMR = 0.040. The component weights ranged from 0.340 to 0.999 and were all statistically significant at the .05 level. This model is structurally straightforward and individual components together which describes the variability varying from 11.6 to 99.8.
