Publication Ethics
Publication Ethics in the Journal of Dhammasuksa Research
The Journal of Dhammasuksa Research, published by the research center for Dhammsuksa Phrapariyattidhamma of Watawutwikasitaram School, places a high priority on maintaining ethical standards in the publication of articles. Therefore, all parties involved are required to strictly adhere to the following principles and standards of publication ethics:
Roles and Responsibilities of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board of the Journal of Dhammasuksa Research
- The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board are responsible for reviewing and evaluating all articles submitted for publication in the journal. They will consider the relevance of the article's content to the journal's goals and scope, as well as the quality of the article in accordance with the pre-publication article quality assessment process.
- The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board must base their article review on academic principles and must not be biased against the author or the content of the article under consideration under any circumstances.
- The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board must not have any conflict of interest with the author of the article or the reviewers, whether in terms of business or personal academic gain.
- The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board must not suppress, alter, or interfere with the information exchanged between the reviewers and the author of the article.
- The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board must strictly adhere to the journal's processes and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities of Authors of Articles in the Journal of Dhammasuksa Research
- Articles submitted by authors for publication in the journal must be original and not have been previously published or disseminated elsewhere.
- Authors must cite all sources correctly whenever presenting or referencing the work of others in their articles, and must not plagiarize the work of others.
- If an author's scholarly work involves the use of animals, participants, or volunteers, or if the research results have sensitive issues for the data providers, the author must follow ethical principles, strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations, and obtain informed consent before collecting data or displaying relevant documents, such as certificates from the Human or Animal Research Ethics Committee, as appropriate.
- Authors must agree to transfer copyright to the Journal of Dhammasuksa Research prior to publication and must not disseminate or publish their work with other sources after it has been published in the Journal of Dhammasuksa Research.
- The names of the authors listed in the article must be those who actually contributed to the article.
Roles and Responsibilities of Article Reviewers
- Article reviewers must not have any conflict of interest with the author of the article. The evaluation of the quality of the article should be based primarily on the quality of the article and should be considered on the basis of academic principles and reasoning without bias or personal conflict.
- Article reviewers must be aware that they are experts with genuine knowledge and understanding of the content of the article they are reviewing.
- Article reviewers must not seek any benefit from the articles they review.
- If an article reviewer discovers that the article being reviewed is a plagiarism of another work, the article reviewer must immediately notify the editor and provide clear supporting evidence.
- Article reviewers must adhere to the journal's review timeframe and must not disclose article information to others.

- The journal's ethical policies are based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and other relevant organizations.
- The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scientific record and ensuring that all published articles meet the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct.
- The journal regularly reviews its ethical policies and procedures to ensure that they are up-to-date and reflect the best practices in publication ethics.
- Authors, reviewers, and readers are encouraged to report any suspected violations of the journal's ethical policies to the Editor-in-Chief.
