Development of a Data Storage System for Tracking the Progress of Construction and Renovation Works in Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University

Abstract

           This research aimed to 1) develop the effectiveness of collecting information on the progress of construction and renovation work system at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, and 2) study the satisfaction of the development of a data collection monitoring the progress of construction and renovation work system at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University. This research was a quantitative study. The population consisted of 18 members, including the inspection supplies acceptance committee and supervisors from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University. A questionnaire was used as the data collection tool. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research results indicated that
           1. The development of a data storage for the progress of construction and renovation work system at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, having an information system were designed to integrate with the university's network. This information system features security, data recording, data editing, data searching, and reporting functionalities.
             2. The results of the satisfaction assessment of the development of a data collection system for monitoring the progress of construction and renovation works at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University overall had opinions at the highest level ( = 4.90). The recommendations of this research were to improve the accuracy, the completion, and the integrity of the database system, as well as the overall performance of the display screen, in order to optimize effectives of functions and capabilities the storage system.
