Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the Resolving causes of ruin problems by the 5th Precepts Village Project and recommendations in Khok Yai Village, Ban Fang Sub-district, Ban Fang District, Khon Kaen Province. Collecting data by using a questionnaire, collecting data from a sample of 321 people, then analyzed and processed with a ready-made computer program. The statistics used are percentage, mean, standard deviation. The results showed that 1) all 321 respondents were female, 57.01% were female, 42.99% were male, 38.32% were 21-40 years old, 28.662% had primary education. The resolving causes of ruin problems by the precept 5 village project as a whole is at a high level. When considering each aspect, they are in descending order as follows: drunkenness, excursion to play, idle work, moonlighting, gambling, making friends with evil people. Suggestions are as follows: During the Buddhist Lent period, all shop operators should refrain from selling liquor. Need the community leaders to announce that the merit-making event in the village is a merit-free event. Need people in the village to help support activities that are beneficial to the village and temple. Learn about the dangers of nightlife and how dangerous they are. Need the community leaders to announce that the merit-making event in the village is a merit-free event that is free from alcohol and gambling. Need everyone in the village to be more serious in managing the gambling in the village. Parents should admonish their children about companionship. Village leaders should vigorously warn the villagers to stay away from people who break the law. Need to deal with illegal things like drugs, racing. Need the village to generate income for unemployed people to do. Have an OTOP group in the village to give the villagers an opportunity to earn income and gain knowledge from work.
