About the Journal

The Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT is an academic journal published by the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Thailand.

Aims and Scope

The journal aims to promote and support the dissemination of scholarly work and research by lecturers, scholars, students, and other interested contributors, both within and outside the university. It considers research articles and academic articles of scholarly merit in the humanities and social sciences, covering the following fields and topics:

  • Language, linguistics, and applied linguistics
  • Literature, literary studies, and translation
  • Psychology, behavioral sciences, and human development
  • Sociology, anthropology, and social development
  • Cultural studies, local wisdom, history, geography, and civilization studies
  • Philosophy, religion, ethics, and contemporary moral values
  • Sports and recreation
  • Interdisciplinary studies related to the above fields

The revised scope applies to articles published in Volume 8, Issue 1 (January–April 2027) and subsequent issues.

Scope Revision History

Before the 2027 revision, the journal’s scope, applicable to issues published through Volume 7 (2026), covered humanities, social sciences, linguistics, applied linguistics, tourism, hotel management, the aviation service industry, physical education, recreation, and related fields. This information is retained for historical reference.

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts that pass initial editorial screening undergo academic evaluation by two reviewers per manuscript with expertise in the relevant field. The journal uses a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.

Article Types

Research articles and academic articles.

Publication Languages

Thai and English.

Publication Frequency

  • Through Volume 7 (2026): Two issues per year: Issue 1, January–June; and Issue 2, July–December.
  • From Volume 8 (2027) onward: Three issues per year, published every four months: Issue 1, January–April; Issue 2, May–August; and Issue 3, September–December.

Article Processing Charge

The article processing charge is THB 4,000 per article. Fees are non-refundable. Further details are available on the Submissions page.
