Changes to the Editorial Team, Journal Scope, Publication Frequency, and Peer Review

The Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT announces changes to its editor and editorial team, effective 1 October 2026. The journal will also introduce a revised scope and increase its publication frequency to three issues per year, beginning with Volume 8, Issue 1 (January–April 2027). In addition, manuscripts that pass initial editorial screening will be evaluated by two reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.

Changing to APA 7th Edition Referencing Style

We would like to announce the change in referencing and citation style from APA 6th edition to APA 7th edition, starting from Volume 6, Issue 1, January - June 2025.

Guidelines for Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Research Articles in JLA RMUTT

The editorial board has established guidelines for the appropriate use of AI in research to maintain academic standards and ensure transparency. Starting from January 1, 2025, all articles submitted must acknowledge AI usage.
- If AI tools were used for language editing or content organization, please include an acknowledgment in the Acknowledgements section.
- If AI was used in the research process, its application should be clearly described in the Methodology section.
Failure to disclose AI usage may impact publication. The board appreciates your cooperation in maintaining ethical and academic standards.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT announces that the article processing charge (APC) will be set at 4,000 baht, effective with Vol. 5 No. 1 (2024) onwards.

This include the expenses associated with every stage of the publication process, ranging from managing the peer-review process to providing hosting services for the final piece on dedicated servers. The Article Processing Charge (APC) are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Digital Object Identifier : DOI

Digital Object Identifier (DOI) with CrossRef will be assigned to the articles in Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT starting from the publication of Vol. 4 No. 2 (2023) and subsequent issues.

The Article Evaluation Criteria Updated!

Starting from Volume 3, Issue 1 (January-June 2022), the RMUTT Journal of Liberal Arts has implemented a new article review criteria. Previously, two reviewers were used, but this has been adjusted to include three reviewers.

CopyCatch Plagiarism Detection System

Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT has implemented the CopyCatch plagiarism detection system under the ThaiJO 2.0 platform for the preliminary review of articles.

To ensure the quality of articles in the Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT meets the standards, if the system detects more than 25% similarity, the journal reserves the right to reject the article and return it before review by the experts.
However, this plagiarism check cannot be conducted before submission or be applied for personal use.

How to access the journal system

Authors who have not yet registered in the ThaiJO system should click "Log In" and then select "Register" at the bottom of the login page. After completing the registration, return to the login page and click "Forgot Password?" The system will send an email to the author to reset their password.
