Publication Ethics

  1. The content presented in the journal, including articles, text, graphics, and tables, represents the subjective viewpoints of the respective authors. The editorial board may not always reach a consensus and disclaims any responsibility. It is the sole responsibility of the authors.
  2. If any article is found to have been plagiarized or misrepresented without proper citation, and if it leads to a misunderstanding that it is the work of the author, please kindly notify the editorial board immediately.
  3. Each article has a comprehensive review and evaluation process conducted by a minimum of three subject area experts.
  4. In order to ensure an accurate and fair assessment, it is necessary to apply articles submitted by both internal and external authors to a double-blind review process.
  5. All articles submitted for publication have not been previously published in any other academic journals, unless they are translated versions of works originally written in foreign languages, and the authors and publishers have granted explicit permission for their publication.
  6. Articles must not be plagiarized from the work of others.

Ethics for the author

  1. The author is required to confirm that the paper being submitted to the journal has not been previously published or is now under review by another publication.
  2. The author must not plagiarize or copy the work of others. The journal will use the Copy Cat program in the Thaijo 2.0 online submission system to check for plagiarism, with a plagiarism threshold of 25%.
  3. The author must strictly follow the journal's guidelines, both for document formatting and citation guidelines.
  4. The author's name and the names of co-authors (if any) must appear in the article file submitted to the ThaiJo 2.0 online submission system of the journal.
  5. The author must cite all content in their articles, including text, images, and tables, to prevent copyright infringement. Sources of information must be indicated by footnotes and categorized in the bibliography according to the journal's citation guidelines. If copyright infringement is found, the journal will immediately withdraw the article from publication. If there is a lawsuit, the journal will not be responsible and the author takes on the entire responsibility.
  6. The author must not report inaccurate information, create false information, distort, or edit the text to conform to the conclusion.
  7. When the author receives the peer review report, the author must improve and correct the article based on the expert's recommendations, and submit it back to the editorial board within the specified deadline.
  8. In the case of an article submitted by the author that is a translation of a foreign language article, the author must certify that the submitted work is original and has never been published elsewhere, and that the publisher has agreed to allow the translation into Thai.
  9. The author is not allowed to revise, modify, or translate an article that has been published in the journal and submit it to another journal, or present the article in different formats.

Ethics for the Editors

  1. The editors must direct, monitor, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the journal to ensure that it is in accordance with the journal's objectives, the quality of research and academic work, the accuracy of the international ethical standards, and the protection of intellectual property from business interests.
  2. The editors must not disclose the identity of authors or reviewers to any other non-affiliated individuals during the peer review process, which the journal has a double-blind peer review policy.
  3. The editors are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. This includes not publishing articles that have been published elsewhere. To ensure that articles are original, the editors must use the Copy Cat program of the ThaiJo 2.0 online submission system for plagiarism detection. The plagiarism score must not exceed 25%. If an article exceeds this limit, the editors must stop the evaluation process and contact the main author immediately for clarification to determine the decision to “accept” or “reject” the publication of the article.
  4. The editors must be free from any conflicts of interest with authors or peer reviewers in order to maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct in the editorial process.
  5. The editors must be able to explain or provide information about the peer review process, and  also be prepared to explain any changes from the stated process.
  6. If it is found that an article has been published in violation of ethical standards, the editors must retract the article with clear and verifiable evidence. The retraction must also be made known to readers and other databases.

Ethics of the Reviewers

  1. The reviewers should primarily consider the quality of the article based on academic and international ethical principles ิby  considering the importance, novelty, and value of the content in the article. The reviewers should use their expertise to analyze the quality and concentration of the work, without bias or personal opinion unsupported by academic evidence. The reviewers should not have any conflicts of interest with the author.
  2. The reviewers must keep the information confidential and not disclose any part of the article being reviewed to any unauthorized person during the review period.
  3. The reviewers must provide their academic opinions in the review form in the journal's online submission system with professional, clear, and unbiased opinions. The reviewers must also submit their review reports within the timeframe specified by the journal's editorial board.
  4. The reviewers must not use any part of the article they reviewed in their own work, except for citing the article after it has been published.
  5. If The reviewers find that an article they are reviewing is a duplicate of another work, the reviewers must immediately notify the editor.
  6. The reviewers must not seek to benefit from the academic work that they have reviewed.
