About the Journal
Publishing Policy and Scope
The School of Law, University of Phayao publishes the “UPLaw Journal” with the aim of disseminating academic knowledge related to law or topics relevant to legal studies. The content is both interesting and valuable in terms of theory and practice, presented in an academic journal format. Additionally, it encourages individuals both within and outside the university to present their academic work for publication.
Types of Legal Academic Works Eligible for Publication:

Academic Articles: These include articles that analyze or critique legal matters from both theoretical and practical perspectives, providing useful insights for further application.

Research Articles: These are based on legal research findings and systematically present a specific discovery from research work.

Legal Analysis Commentaries: These involve writing analyses of court judgments.

Book Recommendations: These provide recommendations for interesting legal books.
Evaluation Process for Submitted Works:
Every academic article and research piece undergoes evaluation by three qualified experts in the relevant field. The evaluation process is double-blinded, ensuring impartiality.

Thai and English
Publication Schedule:
Two issues per year, published every six months:
- Issue 1 (January - June)
- Issue 2 (July - December)
