The development of learning achievement in mathematics matter knowledge of quadrilaterals. Using the teaching model of GPAS 5 Steps with Multimedia for Prathomsuksa 5, Sanpatong (SuwanRat Wittayakarn School)

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were 1) to create and determine quality of lesson plans about quadrilaterals by using the teaching model of GPAS 5 Steps with Multimedia to gain efficiency criteria at 75/75 2) to enhance learning achievement in mathematics about quadrilaterals by using the teaching model of GPAS 5 Steps with multimedia of 80 percent of students to achieve at least 70 percent in posttest and 3) to survey satisfaction of grade 5 elementary students concerning the use of teaching model of GPAS 5 Steps with multimedia. The sample group were 40 students of Pratomsuksa 5 at Sanpatong (Suwannarat Wittayakarn School) in the second semester of the academic year 2021. Research instruments included 1) 5 lesson plans using the teaching model of GPAS 5 Steps with multimedia, 2) Pretest and Posttest and 3) a satisfaction survey form of Pratomsuksa 5 students for using the teaching model of GPAS 5 Steps with Multimedia. Data were analyzed by mean (x̅), percentage and standard deviation (S.D.)
          The research findings were as follows: 1) lesson plans about quadrilaterals by using the teaching model of GPAS 5 Steps with Multimedia were as effective as 84.16/75.75 2) 85 percent of students have learning achievement scores about quadrilaterals after using the teaching model of GPAS 5 Steps with multimedia more than 75 percent 3) The satisfaction of the students toward learning by using GPAS 5 Steps model with multimedia about Quadrilaterals was at high level.
