The Development of Holistic Learning on Local Wisdom from Bamboo by Using the Active-Learning Activities in Occupations Learning Area for Mattayom Suksa 2 Students, Somdej Ya Community Demonstration School, Srinakharinwirot University, Mae Chaem

Abstract

             The objectives of this research were 1) to create and evaluate the effectiveness of learning management plan on active learning for development the holistic learning in local wisdom from bamboo of Mattayom Suksa 2 students 2) to study academic achievement on holistic Learning in local wisdom from bamboo of Mattayom Suksa 2 students after using  learning management plan on active learning . This research employed an action research and the sample were 12 Mattayom Suksa 2 students of Somdej Ya Community Demonstration School, Srinakharinwirot University, Mae Chaem, in first semester of  2022 academic year, selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments were 1) 10 learning management plans by using active learning 2) a propriety assessment form of learning management plan  by using  active  learning 3) the academic achievement assessment on holistic Learning in local wisdom included 3.1) a 30-item multiple-choice achievement test of knowledge 3.2) an evaluation of learning processes through project-based bamboo craft activities 3.3) an observation checklist for desirable characteristics, including determination, participation, and responsibility. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and mode.

             This research founded that 1. the propriety assess of learning management plan had overall average of every sub – assessment in all 6 areas were the highest level amount 7 plans and the hight level 3 plans. 2. The results of academic achievement on holistic learning in local wisdom from bamboo founded that 2.1 The students had knowledge according to the criteria at verry good level amount 5 students and at good level amount 7 students. 2.2 The overall of students had process skills at verry good level amount 5 students, at good level amount 3 students and fair level amount 4 students. The evaluation project work  and presentation of bamboo invention all 4 sub – process skills founded that the overall of students had process skills at good level amount 6 students, at verry good level amount 4 students and at fair level amount 2 students. 2.3) The attribute of participation and responsibility were at verry good level and determination was at good level.
