1. Commitment to Publication Ethics
The International Journal of Sociologies and Anthropologies Science Reviews (IJSASR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, transparency, and accountability in scholarly publishing.
The journal adheres to internationally recognized ethical frameworks, including:

All parties involved in the publication process—including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—are required to comply with these principles.
2. Peer Review Policy
IJSASR applies a double-blind peer-review process to all submitted manuscripts.
- Authors’ identities are not disclosed to reviewers.
- Reviewers’ identities are not disclosed to authors.
- All submissions are evaluated based solely on academic merit, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
3. Peer Review Process
3.1 Initial Screening
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening by the Editor-in-Chief or handling editor to assess:
- Relevance to the journal’s aims and scope
- Originality and academic contribution
- Methodological quality
- Ethical compliance
- Completeness of submission
Manuscripts may be rejected at this stage if they do not meet the journal’s standards.
Estimated timeline: 7–14 working days
3.2 Plagiarism and Similarity Check
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism-detection tools within approximately 24 hours of submission.
- Acceptable similarity index: below 25%
- Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned for revision or rejected.
- Proven plagiarism may result in rejection or retraction.
3.3 Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts that pass initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who apply a double-blind peer-review process.
Reviewers are selected based on:
- Subject expertise
- Research experience
- Independence from authors
- Absence of conflicts of interest
Estimated timeline: 7–10 working days
3.4 Peer Review Evaluation
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on:
- Originality and contribution to the field
- Theoretical and conceptual framework
- Methodological rigor
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Ethical compliance
- Clarity and structure
Estimated timeline: 2–4 weeks
3.5 Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer reports, the Editor-in-Chief or handling editor makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Resubmit for Review
- Reject
Estimated timeline: 7–10 working days after review completion
3.6 Revision and Final Decision
Authors must revise manuscripts according to reviewer comments:
- Minor revision: 7–14 days
- Major revision: 15–30 days
Final acceptance is granted only after all concerns have been satisfactorily addressed.
3.7 Publication Timeline
- Estimated time to first decision: 4–8 weeks
- Estimated time from submission to publication: 8–16 weeks
4. Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must:
- Submit original, unpublished work not under review elsewhere
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and transparency of research
- Provide proper citations and acknowledgments
- Disclose funding sources and conflicts of interest
- Provide ethics approval and informed consent for human research
- Include a data availability statement
- Declare use of AI tools, if applicable
Misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or duplicate submission is strictly prohibited.
5. Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers must:
- Maintain confidentiality
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely reviews
- Decline reviews when conflicts of interest exist
- Report ethical concerns to editors
- Not use unpublished material for personal advantage

Editors are responsible for:

7. Responsibilities of the Publisher
The publisher ensures:
