Changes to the Editorial Team, Journal Scope, Publication Frequency, and Peer Review

The Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT announces the following changes to its editorial team, scope, publication frequency, and peer-review process.

1. Editor and Editorial Team

Assistant Professor Dr. Wisut Srinual will serve as Editor, alongside a revised editorial team, effective 1 October 2026.

2. Journal Scope

The journal aims to promote and support the dissemination of scholarly work and research by lecturers, scholars, students, and other interested contributors. It considers research articles and academic articles of scholarly merit in the humanities and social sciences, covering the following fields and topics:

  • Language, linguistics, and applied linguistics
  • Literature, literary studies, and translation
  • Psychology, behavioral sciences, and human development
  • Sociology, anthropology, and social development
  • Cultural studies, local wisdom, history, geography, and civilization studies
  • Philosophy, religion, ethics, and contemporary moral values
  • Sports and recreation
  • Interdisciplinary studies related to the above fields

The revised scope will apply to manuscripts considered for publication in Volume 8, Issue 1 (January–April 2027) and subsequent issues. Authors intending to submit manuscripts for these issues should ensure that their work falls within the revised scope.

3. Publication Frequency

The journal will increase its publication frequency from two to three issues per year, published every four months, beginning with Volume 8 (2027). The publication schedule will be as follows:

  • Issue 1: January–April
  • Issue 2: May–August
  • Issue 3: September–December

4. Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass initial editorial screening will undergo academic evaluation by two reviewers per manuscript with expertise in the relevant field.
