The Development of Learning Achievement on Basic Software Usage for Grade 2 Students by Using Online Lessons with Gagne’s Conceptual Teaching Model

Abstract

              This research aims to (1) compare the learning performance before and after using basic software among second-grade students studying with online lessons, and (2) compare the learning performance after using basic software among second-grade students studying with online lessons against a criterion of 70%. The sample group used in the study consists of 38 students from 2/1 class at Ruammitri Vitthaya School, Muang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, who were studying during the 2565 academic year. The research uses a random group design and the research tools include online lessons following the concept of Gagne's instructional design, a learning management plan using online lessons based on Gagne's instructional design, and a test to measure learning performance. The data analysis involves using mean ( ), standard deviation (S.D.), and dependent T-test and one-group pretest-posttest T-test. The finding: (1) For second-grade students studying with online lessons following Gagne's instructional design, the average learning performance before studying was 13.34 out of 20 points, and the average learning performance after studying was 18.55 out of 20 points. It was found that the post-study learning performance was significantly higher than the pre-study performance at a statistical significance level of .05. (2) The post-study learning performance of second-grade students studying with online lessons following Gagne's instructional design was 18.55 out of 20 points, which is equivalent to 92.76%. When comparing it with the criterion of 70%, it was found that the post-study learning performance of students with online lessons was significantly higher than the criterion at a statistical significance level of .05.
