DEC Journal, published by the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University, is an academic journal focusing on art, design, and related fields. The journal is published three times a year: Issue 1 (January-April), Issue 2 (May-August), and Issue 3 (September-December). DEC Journal has no article publication fees.

The journal aims to promote research, knowledge development, and academic/creative writing by faculty members of the Faculty of Decorative Arts, graduate students, academics, and experts both within and outside the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University. All submissions are reviewed by the editorial board and then evaluated by three peer reviewers under a double-blind review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
On February 4, 2025, the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) announced the results of their journal quality assessment for inclusion in the TCI database for 2024. The TCI Center has certified the journal's quality for the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2029.
