About the Journal

The Siam University Journal of Business Administration ISSN 3057-0654 (Online) changed its name from Siam Academic Journal (ISSN 1513-1076), which published its first issue in 1998. It is published by the Faculty of Business Administration, Siam University, with the aim of disseminating knowledge and academic works covering the fields of business administration, management, finance, banking, marketing, economics, and accounting. The journal has transitioned to an online-only format since Volume 25, Issue 2 (July–December 2024). The name change aligns with its objectives and international standards to provide diverse information to readers, authors, expert reviewers, and to benefit the academic field of business administration and society. Its goal is to compile and publish academic works and to serve as a medium for the exchange of knowledge in the aforementioned fields among faculty members, researchers, scholars, students, and other interested individuals.

Objective 

To collect and publish academic works in business administration, management, finance, banking, marketing, economics, and accounting.

Scope & Types of articles

Articles to be considered for publication must be research articles, academic articles, book reviews, or review articles. This should be related to business administration, management, finance, banking, marketing, economics, or accounting.

Publication Frequency: bi–annually 

2 issues per year 
• Issue 1 January - June, published in June
• Issue 2 July - December, published in December

Peer Review Process 

Articles to be published in the Journal must be reviewed by qualified persons screening articles in related fields in the form of Double-Blind Peer Review, with at least 3 persons per article.

While more than half of the peer reviewers agreed that the article should be published, the opinions expressed within it represent the independent views of the authors. Each author certifies that their article does not infringe on the copyright of others. The journal and the peer reviewers only provided opinions regarding the quality of the content and the appropriateness of the presentation style. The Siam University Journal of Business Administration and the peer reviewers are not responsible for any opinions expressed or the authors' rights to publish and disseminate their work.

Publication Fees

  • Thai articles: 4,000 THB per article
  • English articles: 5,500 THB per article

Publication fees will be collected after the initial screening process. Approximately one week after registration and submission of your article, and after passing the initial editorial screening, the journal will notify you of the fee for one-time payment. No further fees will be charged.

Send proof of payment to academic_review@siam.edu or submit your article online via the "Add discussion" link.

Once the article has passed the initial screening and meets the journal's objectives, it will be published. In order to proceed with the peer review process, the editorial team reserves the right to refund the article preparation fee if the article is not accepted by two peer reviewers.
