Special Article Processing Charge (APC) Waiver for International Authors (2025-2027)

The Asian Education and Learning Review (AELR) is committed to publishing cutting-edge research on education, learning, and human development within the Asian context. In line with our dedication to fostering global collaboration and promoting diverse perspectives, and in response to Scopus recommendations regarding the geographical diversity of authorship and content, AELR is pleased to announce a Special Article Processing Charge (APC) Waiver for all international authors for submissions made and accepted for publication between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2027.

This initiative is designed to remove financial barriers that may prevent researchers from outside of Thailand from publishing their work in AELR. By waiving the APC for international authors during this period, we aim to:

  • Expand the geographical representation of research on education and learning in Asia:We seek to include a wider range of experiences and perspectives on educational systems, pedagogical approaches, and learning outcomes across the Asian region.
  • Support educational researchers and practitioners in developing contexts:We aim to enable researchers facing financial constraints to share their valuable findings and contribute to the global understanding of education and learning in Asia.
  • Promote innovative and culturally relevant approaches to education:By publishing research from diverse educational settings, we hope to foster the development of more effective and equitable educational practices in Asia.

Eligibility:

  • This APC waiver applies to all manuscripts submitted by corresponding authors affiliated with institutions located outside of Thailand.
  • The waiver is valid for manuscripts submitted and accepted for publication between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2027.

AELR encourages researchers from around the globe to submit their high-quality research to the journal during this special waiver period. We look forward to receiving your submissions and contributing to the advancement of educational knowledge and practice in Asia.

Asian Education and Learning Review is an electronic open access journal published twice a year in English by the Association of Legal & Political Studies (Thailand) and White Tiger Legal Business and Research Consultants Co., Ltd. (Thailand) in cooperation with Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University (Thailand). The aim of AELR is to provide a platform for disseminating strong, current, and interdisciplinary academic proposals and research findings on education and learning in Asia, including comparisons between countries in the region and other regions. AELR accepts both research and review article and has an open review format by at least 3 experts before publication.
